As I get back into regular blogging, I ask that you all take some time to stop over here and read about baby Gabriella. Gabriella's mommy and a handful of her other relatives attended high school with me. Late in the pregnancy, Gabriella was diagnosed with severe hydrocephalus and ventriculomegaly. Luckily, since birth, doctor's have determined that she does not have hydrocephalus. However, she does have ventriculomegaly as well as several other conditions.
Unfortunately, one of her conditions in many cases causes Cerebral Palsy. One of her treatment options involves a cord blood transplant. Luckily, they already have the cord blood stored away from her birth. Not so luckily, the procedure costs $11,000. Please, even if you can not personally give, think about sharing Gabriella's fundraiser and sending some prayers her way. This little girl needs all the help she can get.
